Spending the day at Google Pittsburgh recently, I walked away with a few insights into the way of “thinking” from a Google perspective. I have to say I loved the complimentary snack bar and beverage-filled refrigerator Google provides for their employees and guests. (I did refrain from gobbling chocolate.) And this was only the start of the day.

Throughout the day, Google’s message was clear-give an amazing experience to everyone.

In business, especially sales, providing an awesome customer experience is key to creating a sale.

Research shows 70 percent of consumers buy because of the way they were treated during their buying experience.

When I work with my clients, I emphasize the customer experience and “it’s all about them” meaning the customer. Yesterday, at Google, I smiled throughout the day as I enjoyed being on the receiving end of “it’s all about them” meaning me. 🙂
